Challenge Protocol

Through its medals, Gaia Challenge values and promotes the quality of natural wines and organic spirits and the work of producers.
​
Each wine and spirits is subjected to a blind tasting before an evaluation of quality and calculation for the awarding of medals.
​
The jury consists of a panel of professionals, international experts and amateurs selected for their skills, professionalism and technical ability to evaluate the quality of the wines and spirits.
​
Before being awarded, a wine and spirits will be tasted by a minimum of 4 jurors.
​
The list of wines and spirits receiving a Silver and Gold medal will be presented on the Gaia Challenge website and sent to more than 30,000 professionals in North America and Europe: Importers, Distributors, Resellers.
Steps:

Wine and spirits registration on our website.
​

Sending your samples from March 15, 2024 (3 samples per wine presented and 1 samples for spirits).
​

One out of the 3 samples of wines sent will be analyzed to verify the sulphite level.
​

2 shipping addresses will be available for sending your samples. A French address and an address in the USA, these will be sent to you by email when you register.
​

Reception, storage at good temperature and preparation for tasting.
​

April 25th and 26th, 2024 Gaia Challenge 2024 Tasting

April 29th: Announcement of results on our website and sending of a promotional dossier by email for each award-winning wine and spirits.

On results day, each participant will receive the items below:

Diploma with medal.​​

Image and graphics of the medal that each participant can use for the product that received the medal at no additional cost.

​​Professional photo of each medal-winning product.

​​Possibility of ordering medals to stick on.
